While playing through Resident Evil Village, you’ll come across multiple easy-to-pick locks that you can’t open without a special item. To open up these locks, you need to find lockpicks, which are tiny items present all over the in-game world of Resident Evil Village.
Finding these lockpicks and opening up the locks will allow you to easily get ammo and other useful resources as the locked drawers usually contain these items.
Since lockpicks are quite rare and they’re really small, meaning they’re very easy to miss, you’ll have a hard time finding them by yourself.
To help you out with finding these lockpicks, we’re here to help you out with this guide where we’ll be showing you the exact location of all the lockpicks in Resident Evil Village.
Resident Evil Lockpick Locations
The following are the locations of all the lockpicks that have been found in the game up till now.
Castle Dimitrescu Lockpick Locations
You’ll find three lockpicks inside Castle Dimitrescu.
Lockpick #1 Location
After you’re done tussling iwth one of Lady Dimitrescu’s daughters and you’re running from the Kitchen towards the Diner Hall, you’ll find the first lockpick of Castle Dimitrescu in the hallway adjacent to the kitchen (to your right). It’ll be sitting on top of the dresser by the door.
Lockpick #2 Location
After you solve the bells puzzle and climb up the ladder to enter the Attic, go along the wall to your left until you find a body laying on the floor.
Even though it looks dead, it isn’t. Shoot the body to kill it and then grab the lockpick form the wooden crate sitting by the lantern.
Lockpick #2 Location
The last lockpick in Castle Dimitrescu is located in the Armory. After you’re done with what happens in there (no spoilers), wait for the smoke to clear out and then look in the corner that’s farthest away from you to find the final lockpick.
Village Lockpick Locations
You’ll find two lockpicks inside the Village.
Lockpick #1 Location
After the Armored Werewolf is taken care of, go to the U-shaped road in the village and search for a big blue gate in the middle of it. If you take a look at your map, you’ll see a lock icon on it.
Shoot the lock and go inside. Once in there, turn right and go to the toilet up ahead. Open the toilet and go inside to find a lockpick.
Lockpick #2 Location
When you’re searching for the house with the red chimney, you’ll find a Well Wheel in the backyard of a house.
Use the wheel to bring the bucket up. Inside the bucket will be the second lockpick.
Lockpick #3 Location
When you’re in the garden area in the Village, you’ll get attacked by a mob of zombies holding sickles. Once you kill them all, collect their loot to find another lockpick.
Lockpick #4 Location
Go inside the abandoned house in the Village and look for the lockpick near the barricaded window to find it.
Lockpick #5 Location
Go to the other wheel well in the Village and go down the ladder inside it to enter a hidden underground area.
Go into the muddy water down there to find the lockpick.
Heisenberg’s Factory Lockpick Locations
You’ll find two lockpicks inside Heisenberg’s Factory.
Lockpick #1 Location
Go inside the Operating Room and look to the table on the left right as you enter to find the first lockpick.
Lockpick #2 Location
Inside Heisenberg’s Factory, you’ll see a massive mining space with a giant drill in it. Go towards it and search for a white metal cabinet to find the second lockpick.
Resident Evil Easy to Pick Locks Locations
Now that you know where to find all of the lockpicks, let’s take a look at the locations of all the easy-to-pick locks that you can find in the game.
Castle Dimitrescu Easy to Pick Locks Locations
There are three easy-to-pick locks to be found in Castle Dimitrescu.
Easy to Pick Lock #1 Location
Right after you exit the Bedchamber in the castle, look to your left to find the lock.
Easy to Pick Lock #1 Location
Go to the hallway to the left of the kitchen to find the second easy-to-pick lock. It’ll be on a cabinet which contains a wooden angle statue. You can sell this to the Duke.
Easy to Pick Lock #1 Location
Go up the stairs to the second floor of the Opera Hall and look to your right to find this lock.
Village Easy to Pick Locks Locations
There are three easy-to-pick locks to be found in the Village.
Easy to Pick Lock #1 Location
To the left of the entrance of the Village. It contains Sniper Rifle ammo.
Easy to Pick Lock #2 Location
Inside the kitchen in the building near the Altar in the Village. It contains Shotgun ammo.
Easy to Pick Lock #1 Location
Go inside the building to the right of the ‘Maiden of War’ location on the map and look for a white cabinet. It also contains Shotgun ammo.
Heisenberg’s Factory Easy to Pick Locks Locations
There are two easy-to-pick locks to be found in Heisenberg’s Factory.
Easy to Pick Lock #1 Location
Go to level MB4 and walk into the hallway that connects the Operating Room to the Foundry. Go to the white refrigerator in this hallway to find the lock. It contains yellow quartz.
Easy to Pick Lock #1 Location
Also on level MB4, go towards Heisenberg’s Quarters. You’ll find the lock on a cabinet outside it. It contains Magnum ammo.
