If you’re someone who wants to play Tales of Arise’s PC version, but want to play it in ultrawide screen, you might come across a problem of your resolution going down as the screen widens. Thankfully, a user named androol on Steam has figured out how to temporarily fix the Tales of Arise ultrawide screen issue.
Considering not everyone has a computer monitor that’s the same size as the developers intended, it’s no surprise that some people with ultrawide monitors may be facing issues. But with androol’s guide, hopefully players will be able to play the game in the resolution they want. All you have to do is follow these steps.
- Download the Universal Unreal Engine 4 Unlocker
- Open the Tales of Arise game, open the Unlocker, select Tales of Arise’s executable file, and inject the default “.dll”.
- Doing this should allow the game to automatically adjust the resolution to your screen so that the game looks just as good as it would on a normal-sized monitor. If it doesn’t work, however, you can also go to the “Hotsampling” tab in the game and adjust it to your liking there.
Considering the beautiful visuals that the game comes with, it’s only natural that players who want to see the game on an ultrawide screen would want resolution to be able to keep up with their screen size. Of course, at the same time, the Tales of Arise ultrawide screen fix may not work for everyone.
This is only a temporary fix as well, so the most we can hope for otherwise is for the folks at Bandai-Namco to release a patch that will let players with ultrawide screens be able to adjust it without having to go through third-party software.
Either way, you can play Tales of Arise on PC now, or you could play it on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Playstation 4, and Playstation 5.
