If you’re one of the many people that have picked up eFootball 2022, you might be one of the people that are also apparently having difficulties with the game’s resolution. However, at least one person on Steam by the name of Bogo, has a solution for the eFootball 2022 resolution problem.
Thankfully, Bogo gives players who are interested a step-by-step guide on how to adjust the game’s resolution and fix the scaling that also is causing issues. All you have to do is follow these easy steps, if you want to change resolution.
- Go to the game’s files in the file directory (Program Files x86, Steam, steamapps, common, eFootball)
- Click on “Settings.exe”
- Choose full screen (the third option)
- Go to the Properties area (same path as before, but continue to \eFootball, Binaries, Win64)
- Right click on efootball.exe and choose Properties
- Go to Compatibility
- Click “Change high api settings”
- Tick both boxes
- Click OK
- Click Apply
The eFootball 2022 resolution issue is likley particularly bad with gamers whose setup is beyond what the game is designed to handle, such as particularly large or high-resolution screens. Being able to uncap the resolution settings and make it scale properly to your screen is definitely something many gamers can look forward to.
Considering that eFootball 2022 has “Overwhelmingly Negative” reviews on Steam (many of the reviews being upset that they waited two years for a bad-looking game with missing content), hopefully those of you that actually are trying to play it can actually make the experience more tolerable. Despite the game being completely free, this makes eFootball 2022 the second yearly sports game to get awful reviews.
However, even bad games like that have their fans, so if the eFootball 2022 resolution issue makes the game slightly more tolerable for people, you can use at least this sort of thing to make the game look better, even if you’re only trying to try the game out. The game can only be played on Steam.
