We always have some games, that detonate the hype bomb upon their release and then there comes an endless wait. Beyond Good and Evil 2 is one of them. If you have forgotten already, Ubisoft officially announced Beyond Good and Evil 2 for the first time back in 2017. So it’s almost 5 years since the announcement of the game.
When it’s been that long, it’s safe to assume that the game won’t see the light of the day however, Ubisoft has assured fans on multiple occasions that Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still in development. There have been some rumors though pegging the game to be in development hell and still in pre-production phase.
Now, we have another hint indicating that the game’s production is still an ongoing process. If we look at the LinkedIn profile of at one of the producers for Beyond Good and Evil 2, it mentions that he is managing a team of 100 people. So it is safe to assume that atleast 100 people are currently working on the project.
If Ubisoft is still committing such a large number of resources for Beyond Good and Evil 2, then it surely is going to get completed. Atleast, that is what we hope so as what we have seen so far of the game, it looks amazing. We hope that Ubisoft will finally share some good news on the project with its next wave of announcements for 2022.
