Resident Evil Village is being hailed as one of the best survival-horror games by Capcom. While we can’t really be sure about the exact validity of this claim, things are looking pretty good so far for the new Resident Evil game by Capcom. Since its announcement last year, we have been getting gameplay details of Resident Evil Village through different sources and events.
Lady Dimitrescu has become an instant crush for many gamers across the globe and inclusion of Vampires and Werewolves just makes the overall package very lucrative. As many of you might already know, Resident Evil Village is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series too along with PS4 and Xbox One. A survival horror game like Resident Evil Village feels like a natural fit for Sony’s PlayStation 5 and Dualsense.
PlayStation 5 is supposed to make full use of the new features Dualsense has to offer including the Haptic Feedback and adaptive triggers. Studio’s producer, Peter Fabiano, while talking in OPM explained how they plan to use the new advanced features of Dualsense on PS5:
You’ll really feel the features come to life when using weapons, such as the pull and feel of firing a gun.
While the game will look great on Microsoft’s Xbox Series X|S too, small experiences offered by Dualsense will definitely prove to be a big plus when it will come to relishing the full Resident Evil Village experience. It has been brought up many times that Microsoft might also need a controller with features similar to Dualsense and RE Village might prove to be another pointer in that direction.
Overall, Resident Evil Village is expected to provide a great experience on next-gen consoles. We are even expecting Resident Evil Village themed consoles which will naturally be a great fit for both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Resident Evil Village is slated for a May 7, 2021 release by Capcom.
The game will be released on  PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. Will there be Nintendo Switch release? Well, that seems very unlikely but we can’t be so sure!
